Our company is seeking a Medical Assistant/Physical Therapy Aide.  In this role, you will assist in the Physical Therapy department as an aide to the Therapist performing basic MA duties. This is an excellent opportunity to get experience with various techniques.

Medical Assistant duties include but are not limited to:

• Manage rooming and patient flow
• Work in a fast paced physical therapy department
• Provider clinical support and patient care
• Work closely with the Physical Therapist assisting patients
• Complete accurate and thorough documentation in the EMR System.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  
• Some clerical duties, such as, appointment scheduling, patient charting, and front office procedures.

Aide tasks may include but are not limited to:

• Scheduling patients
• Team support with faxing/copying inventory
• Packaging laundry
• Light cleaning
• Work with our biller to assist in billing needs
• Answer phones, return calls, take messages.
• Maintaining proper sanitization
• Data entry
• Shredding
• Assist with appointment reminders, cancellation follow ups patient welcoming services
• Direct work with clinicians to include observation and learning of exercise and treatments being performed
