Position Summary
The X-Ray Technician / Medical Assistant plays a vital dual role in supporting clinical operations and delivering high-quality patient care. This position ensures efficient clinic flow while providing exceptional radiographic and medical assisting services in a fast-paced occupational health setting.
Key Responsibilities
Radiology & Clinical Support
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and perform X-rays in accordance with safety, quality, and patient care protocols
- Produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs as ordered by providers
- Maintain a radiology repeat rate of ≤ 2%
- Ensure radiology equipment is functioning properly and compliant with all applicable regulations; promptly report malfunctions
- Request, retrieve, document, and track imaging records as needed
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked exam and X-ray rooms
Medical Assistant & Operational Support
- Assist providers with patient care, exams, and treatments as needed
- Support efficient patient flow and clinic operations
- Stock and manage clinical, office, and radiology supplies
- Collaborate closely with providers and clinical staff to support diagnostic and treatment plans

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a limited scope/basic/LMRT/NCT radiologic technology program
- Medical Assistant certification or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinical settings
- Familiarity with employer-based services such as post-offer physicals, injury care, or drug testing
