Job Description


As a Chiropractor, you will be responsible for providing direct chiropractic care to patients. You will work in a team environment under the referral of the Occupational Medicine physician. You will be supported by office staff to manage authorizations, patient scheduling, and billing.


This opportunity is open to W-2 part-time/full-time employees and 1099 independent contractors.


Specialties: Orthopedics, sports medicine, manual therapy, ergonomics, injury prevention.


Job Duties

  • Conduct patient consultations by reviewing health and medical histories, questioning, observing, and examining patients, and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
  • Creating personalized treatment plans for each patient according to their needs and goals
  • Update and modify the treatment plan on an ongoing basis.
  • Uses clinical reasoning in treating and planning, implementing, and monitoring patient progress.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Educate patients on proper posture, ergonomics, exercise and self-are techniques for injury prevention
  • Maintain open communication with the patient, other team members, and referring physician (when applicable) regarding the patient's plan of care and progress.
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation.

Requirements:

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited chiropractic program
  • Unrestricted California Chiropractic License (Required)
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
