Nurse Practitioner (full time, part time, per diem)

Job Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will be responsible for initiating, developing, and implementing treatment plans of care in accordance with state laws, ProActive medical protocols, and applicable policies. This role will support our commitment to providing high-quality occupational health services by ensuring the proper diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care for employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Leadership:

    • May oversee nursing staff, providing direction for nursing care to ensure continuity and quality of service.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Medical Record and Equipment Management:

    • Maintain accurate and confidential patient health records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, company policies, and state laws.
    • Ensure proper operation, calibration, and maintenance of all clinical equipment, documenting as required.
  • General Duties:

    • Perform other clinical duties as directed by the Center Medical Director, in alignment with established policies and procedures.
    • Participate in ongoing professional development, including Continuing Medical Education (CME) to maintain licensure and knowledge of evolving medical practices.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Master’s Degree
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

    • Strong understanding of occupational medicine requirements (state-specific).
    • Comprehensive knowledge of worker’s compensation procedures and rehabilitation services delivery.
  • Communication
    • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both patients and team members.:
