Key Responsibilities:
As a Medical Assistant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Patient Care and Assistance: Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience.
- Clinical Support: Take patient histories and vital signs accurately, assist physicians during exams and minor procedures, and provide direct patient care as instructed.
- Procedural Support: Administer injections, apply dressings, and assist with minor surgeries and other procedures, as directed by the physician.
- Room Preparation and Equipment Maintenance: Prepare and maintain exam and treatment rooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies and properly sterilized. Keep medical equipment clean, safe, and ready for use.
- Documentation: Accurately complete and maintain patient records, documenting treatments, histories, and any other relevant information.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with physicians and other medical staff to provide the best patient care, while ensuring clear and professional communication with all team members.
- Teamwork: Uphold a positive, team-oriented attitude to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Compliance: Adhere to all organizational policies, guidelines, and protocols, including those concerning working hours, breaks, and patient confidentiality.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Medical Assistant or similar healthcare
role preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced
environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient with medical office equipment and
technology.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and basic
clinical practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.

- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience:
At least one year of experience in an occupational healthcare clinic
preferred, but not required.
- Bilingual:
Preferred, but not required.
